ARMORED DAWN PRESS RELEASE

Mad Old Lady is now Armored Dawn Mad Old Lady is a thing of the past. The band, led by musician and lead vocalist Eduardo Parras continues to overcome obstacles, as their new slogan states, "You're the strongest person in the world, there are no obstacles you can't overcome". To initiate this new phase, the band changed their name, and is now called Armored Dawn. Besides the name change, the band also has a new member: drummer Rodrigo Oliveira. Born in São Paulo, Brazil on October 24, 1979, the musician began his career as a teenager in 1994 with a band that he formed with some friends from school. After playing in a different band, where he played some shows throughout Brazil. In 1997, Rodrigo was called to audition for Korzus, one of the principal heavy metal bands in Brazil, also known throughout the world. He was hired on the spot and began recording and touring with the band. Rodrigo recorded four albums with Korzus: "Live At Monsters Of Rock (2000), "Ties Of Blood" (2004), "Discipline Of Hate" (2010) and "Legion" (2014), as well as the DVD "History Video" (2006). He also shared the stage with several international big-name bands such as Slayer, Slipknot, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Biohazard and Cradle Of Filth. In 2004, Rodrigo did a European tour playing for the British band Mercury Rain. Armored Dawn has also begun to expand its work to the international market. The band signed a worldwide digital distribution deal (excluding the USA) with Sony Music. Launching soon in the American market, Armored Dawn is working with Concrete Marketing.
